  • If you need to access your emergency funds before the annual subscription period is reached, the funds for the remaining subscription period will be deducted from the total emergency vet invoice at the time of payment to the emergency vet office.  For example you have an emergency and 2 months left on your annual subscription of $20/mo.  $40 would be deducted from the $3,000 payout.
  • All pet emergencies must be evaluated, assessed and referred by one of our licensed vets through your member portal in order to activate your emergency fund.  It is the pet owners’ responsibility to do this prior to visiting your local vet.  A video triage call or upload video of your pet is required for proper assessment and activation of your club funds.
  • If your pet emergency is deemed life threatening your fund will be approved for activation and you will then have 4 hours to seek emergency veterinarian care as required by the club rules.  We want to ensure there is no delay in getting the emergency care your pet has been approved for.
  • If you wait longer than 4 hours to seek the emergency care, your funds will not be approved or released to the emergency vet clinic so it’s very important you do this within 4 hours of fund activation.
  • Funds can not be accessed or approved if you have already admitted your pet prior to contacting our club veterinarians for fund fund pre approval and activation.
  • The club fund will only pay for the costs associated with the initial pet emergency.  All followup care is at the expense of the pet owner.

  • We reserve the right to review all fund activation cases to ensure all protocols and guidelines have been followed or we may deny the funds if the guidelines have not been followed.
  • At checkout from your vet clinic after the emergency, the funds will be paid directly to your vet clinic upon receipt of the final invoice and verification of completed treatment.  Simply initiate a vet call and upload a copy of the invoice and let us know you are ready to leave with your pet.  The process is generally very fast.
